The proposal for this development, located in Lane Cove Business Park was designed by Crawford MGA Pty Ltd and incorporated the construction and strata subdivision of a five level industrial office building comprising thirty-five units and associated carparking.
The proposal was received positively by Council officers as an innovative, functional and light industrial based development, which required compliance with the relevant controls. Accordingly, the proposal was altered to comply with these controls, including FSR, height, landscaping and parking. GSA Planning prepared a Statement of Environmental Effects and a Traffic and Parking Report which established that the proposed development was appropriate from a planning point of view and was in the public interest.
Since the success of this application for 27 Mars Road, GSA Planning has been involved in a development application to Lane Cove Council for the conversion of an industrial unit to a canteen and a further application to construct a building identification plinth sign, two internal directional signs and business identification signs for the same site.
