Buckhurst Avenue, Point Piper
GSA Planning had extensive involvement with this project, comprising substantial alterations and additions to an existing residential flat building in Point Piper. The proposal for seven luxury apartments, designed by Alex Popov and Associates, enhances the appearance of the 40 year old residential flat building and accompanying carparking structure to present an attractive contemporary built form when viewed from the water and from Buckhurst Avenue. The design also incorporated energy efficient features, disabled access, and was upgraded to meet SEPP No. 65, BCA and BASIX requirements. Neighbouring residential amenity was also improved by removing noise generating structures, improving security, and maintaining privacy and views.
GSA Planning provided planning advice, prepared planning and traffic reports and, working closely with the client, liaised with council and interested parties throughout the development process to achieve Council consent.
